Port Jefferson is one of those quaint seaport towns that I love to visit multiple times a year, especially in the summertime. This weekend the weather was perfect, and so we took advantage and made a day trip. The day was spent walking from boutiques and bookstores to antique shops all afternoon, while catching a sweet breeze from the docks nearby. We enjoyed a pineapple walnut crepe as we relaxed on a bench on the docks, while watching the boats and ferries navigate the waters. We splurged on a few purchases, especially from one of our favorite Peruvian shops, and left with a delicious variety of French macarons from Francois Payard.
